Project and Month 18 Review Meeting in Aachen, Germany - March 2026
In March 2026, the project consortium gathered at LSA in Aachen Germany, to discuss the progress and future work in the next period.
The MEDALS consortium gathered in Aachen, Germany, on 25th and 26th of March 2026, for a two-day project meeting and review meeting. The project meeting on March 25th, featured informative presentations highlighting the innovative data-driven scrap sorting methodologies, pyrometallurgical tramp element removal methods and sustainble circular economy practices for tramp elemenet recovery being developed within the project framework. The project meeting was followed with the first review meeting in the project on March 26th, where the consortium presented the work that has been completed till M18 to EU. A big thanks to LSA for hosting this productive meeting and also project officer and reviewer from EU for their comments and suggestions for future work in the project. Led by Björn Glaser from KTH, the consortium engaged in productive discussions, shared valuable knowledge and presented intermediate results.
