Project Meeting in Bari, Italy - January 2025
In January 2025, the project partners gathered in Bari to discuss the progress and future work within the project framework.
The MEDALS consortium gathered in Bari, Italy, on 15th and 16th of January 2025, for a two-day project meeting. The event featured informative presentations highlighting the innovative scrap sorting, tramp element removal and sustainble circular economy practices being developed within the project framework. A big thanks to Politecnico di Bari for hosting this productive meeting. The project is all about tackling one of the big challenges in sustainable materials: how to recover more metals from end-of-life products while reducing unwanted tramp elements. Led by Björn Glaser from KTH, the consortium engaged in productive discussions, shared valuable knowledge and presented intermediate results.
